Playback, Blues, and the Tank

Hi!

Seems I missed an important announcement or two this last week. By the way, had a lovely time at both Midday Music Meditation and the Dexter Payne Quartet at Caffe Sole - thanks to those who made it out there. It is so great to play for you!

Meanwhile TONIGHT, at the Dairy Center, I will have the privilege of accompanying Playback Theater West, an exceptional group of people who take stories from the audience... and play them back. And I get to provide the sound track! We never know what is going to happen - sometimes hilarious, sometimes very moving. Reserve tickets - they go fast!

On Thursday, a special treat - I will play a blues duet with Lionel Young at Amaro Drinkery (Arugula Restaurant in N Boulder). New venue for intimate live music!

And, very urgently, I want to let you know about a campaign to save The Tank, an amazingly reverberant sound structure in Western Colorado. We are raising $42,000 to preserve the Tank so many more musicians can have the kind of amazing experience that I had there.

Here is the link to the Kickstarter campaign. Check it out, and by all means, support this worthy effort!
