Balkan Brass Band Dance Party in Ft Collins, Th July 15!

Been having way too much fun lately! SF Bay Area gigs and Balkan Camp were a blast. So much so that it seems years have passed!

A very special night is upon us - I have been immersed in a Balkan Brass Workshop in Ft Collins presented by the non-profit "The World In Colorado" and led by Michele Simon and Peter Jaques as well as Diane Montgomery.
See Diane's website (www.theworldincolorado.org)

Michele is a vocalist with KITKA and vocalist/percussionist with Brass Menazerie in the Bay Area. Peter (clarinet, trumpet) is the musical director of Brass Menazerie, among other projects.

The workshop culminates Thursday evening with a dance party featuring:

Balkan Brass Kicks Band (workshop participants)
Gora Gora Orkestar
Veelah (wi special guests Peter & Michele)

I will play in all three sets! Please come, enjoy the great sounds, fun dancing (its so easy to learn, even I can do it!) and support this cultural event! ($5 cover)

8-10pm
Empire Grange,
2306 W. Mulberry St, Ft Collins

See you there!
