Dear friends, Happily this message is about results - A new CD!   Looking at advance copy of the new CD as I write you from NYC, where I'll play Saturday with many dear friends to honor and celebrate the life of Gaudencio Thiago de Mello, who died in late November. Just like the birthday party we had WITH him a little over a year ago, it will be a joyous occasion.

With great pleasure Dexofon Records announces release of Dexter Payne Quartet +1 "Prá Você", a set of  6 choros, 2 forros and one original. Official release to be celebrated in Boulder, Thursday, March 13 at Caffe Sole and in Denver at Dazzle, Sunday, March 16. CDs will be available there, as well as www.dexofon.com and select outlets. The site will also offer downloads. Advance download copies are in the hands of reviewers (more reviews welcome -please inquire!) and video previews of Sampa and Playground are searchable on youtube.
